From a Childhood Promise to a Sanctuary.
Halo Sanctuary & Rescue was created based on a childhood promise our founder made to herself: that "big" her would ensure no child ever has to give up their furry best friend. Driven by a passion to reduce the number of unwanted and abandoned animals, Halo provides a safe abode-like home for those who have been mistreated, injured, or confiscated.

Chanika is a dedicated, passionate, and intelligent individual. She is independent and original in her thoughts, with an exceptional ability to turn theories into solid plans and transform those plans into actions. She highly values knowledge, competence, and structure, thriving as a long-term thinker with a high expectation of performance. Her dynamic approach and broad-minded thinking make her a visionary leader who welcomes creativity in animal care. Chanika has a holistic approach to organization, promoting a medium of communication, growth, and learning. She believes in trust, loyalty, and the team over individuality, serving as a leader and team player who portrays her vision and ensures its fulfillment.
